How Custom Company Hoodies Can Boost Your Business

If you are looking for a way to promote your brand, enhance employee morale and make a great impression on customers, custom company hoodies may be the answer. Branded clothing is an incredibly effective marketing tool and hoodies in particular have become a popular choice for businesses of all sizes and industries.

Increased Brand Visibility

One of the greatest benefits of custom company hoodies is the increased brand visibility they provide. Whenever employees wear them in public, they become walking advertisements for your company. This can help raise awareness of your brand and increase recognition in your local community, industry or target market. Brand recognition is key for attracting new customers and staying top-of-mind. Plus, people are more likely to remember a brand when they see it represented on an item someone is wearing versus merely seeing a logo on a billboard or website.

Employee Pride and Team Building

Giving employees branded hoodies can also help create a sense of pride and team spirit within your company. When employees feel as though they’re part of a unified team and take pride in where they work, this can boost morale, engagement and productivity. Hoodies with your company logo make great employee gifts, rewards for outstanding work or just a way to kit out your team. Branded apparel contributes to a positive company culture and gives employees a way to represent the business.

The Changes in Company Uniform

There has been a drastic change in company uniform over the last 10 years, this change sped up in 2020 when Covid struck.  Office staff in particular noticed a significant change, as many of them spent some, or all of their time working from home.  There was no need to dress smart for the office and as long as your top half was acceptable for meetings, you could get away with joggers or even pyjamas on your bottom half.

As we know, many people continued to work full or part time from home after the lock down lifted, and so this became the new normal.

Going Into Work

Casual Company Uniform

For those who continued to go into work, company uniform has also become more casual.   This is due to trends in fashion, comfort for workers and the cost of supplying uniform, especially as there is a much higher turnover in staff in many businesses in recent years.

Over the last few years, we have seen a change from dress shirts to polo shirts. Blazers to soft shells or hoodies. Suit trousers to chinos or jeans.  Ties and scarfs have almost disappeared, and many hospitality businesses are just supplying aprons as uniform, which is worn over the staff’s normal clothing.

Making Your Clothing Look Like Company Uniform

Because uniform has become so much more casual, businesses often choose to have it branded so it can be distinguished from non-work clothing.  This is a simple and cost effective way to provide a company uniform.

Company Uniform of the Future

As time moves forward we predict that uniform will continue to move towards a more casual look and practicality and comfort will be key. It may become more like merchandise and be used as a form of marketing through fashion trends.

Why do companies brand uniform?

There are many reasons why businesses and organisations brand uniform and clothing, some are practical, and some are for design purposes. Often businesses do it for a more than one reason, both practical and design.

Ownership of clothing

By branding uniform, you are making sure that it is clearly labelled as being owned by the business.  It’s much less likely that it will be used by the employee for anything other than work. It also identifies the clothing as an asset of the business.  Clothing is often tax tabbed for this reason.

Adding brand logos to uniform and Pantone matching clothing can help to strengthen a band’s exposure and make it more memorable to customers.

Branded uniform can give staff a sense of identity with each other and also for customers. You can clearly identify a sales assistant in a store if they are wearing a uniform.  If a trades person arrives at your door and they branded uniform on, it reassures you that they are from the company you are expecting.

Ways to brand uniform

There are many ways to brand uniform, you can have a full bespoke item which is dyed to match your exact Pantone colour.  You can scale it right back with a tax tab label sewn on for a discreet look or you can add print and embroidery with a logo and tag line.

Uniforms particularly in the hospitality sector have become part of the whole hotel or restaurant design.  For example, if the style of the restaurant is industrial, with lots of wood and metal.  The clothing may reflect that with denim, or leather fabrics.  The branding may be a logo in the design of a branding stamp, again to reflect industry.  It helps to make the whole experience immersive for the customer.

Tips for achieving high-quality embroidered uniforms

When it comes to creating a professional and polished look for your uniforms, workwear or sports club apparel, embroidery is a timeless and elegant choice. Embroidered logos and designs not only add a touch of sophistication but also reflect a sense of pride and unity among your team members. However, achieving high-quality embroidered uniforms requires careful attention to detail and craftsmanship. In this article, we’ll share some valuable tips to help you achieve the best results when using embroidery services for your custom apparel needs.

Start with high-quality artwork

The foundation of any successful embroidery project is the quality of the artwork. Begin with a high-resolution image or vector file of your logo or design. Vector files are preferable as they can be scaled to any size without losing quality.

Thread selection matters

The choice of thread colour and type can significantly impact the appearance of your embroidered design. Consult with us to select the thread that matches your design’s colour scheme and meets your durability requirements. High-quality threads not only look better but also withstand wear and tear, ensuring longevity.

Pay attention to detail

The success of an embroidered design often lies in the details. Ask for recommendations regarding font styles, letter spacing, and the size of small design elements. Attention to detail can make a significant difference in the overall appearance of your uniforms.

Test and approve samples

Before proceeding with a large-scale embroidery project, request a sample of your design on the chosen fabric. This will allow you to assess the quality, colours and placement of the embroidery. It’s easier and less costly to make adjustments at this stage than to correct errors after the entire order is completed.

Choose a reputable embroidery service

Ultimately, the quality of your embroidered uniforms depends on the skill and expertise of the embroidery service provider you choose. Here at Impact Trading, we have a track record of producing high-quality embroidered apparel, and we are happy to collaborate with you to achieve your vision.

Maintenance and care

To ensure the longevity of your embroidered uniforms, it’s crucial to follow proper care instructions. Advise your team members or clients on how to wash and care for their embroidered apparel to prevent damage and maintain the integrity of the design.

Achieving high-quality embroidered uniforms requires attention to every detail, from the initial artwork, the selection of thread and fabric, and the expertise of the embroiderer. By following these tips and partnering with Impact Trading, you can ensure that your uniforms, workwear, or sports club apparel not only look exceptional but also stand the test of time. Elevate your team’s image and create a lasting impression with quality embroidered uniforms.

Why Your Workwear Should Have an Embroidered Logo

Creating a strong brand identity is crucial for success in any business. A logo serves as the visual representation of your brand and can leave a lasting impression on customers. While there are various ways to present your logo, one method that stands out for its timeless appeal and professionalism is embroidery. In this post, we’ll explore why your business should consider getting embroidered clothing and the benefits it can bring to your brand.

Professionalism and Credibility

An embroidered logo adds an element of professionalism and credibility to your business. The three-dimensional texture and intricate details of embroidery create a sense of craftsmanship and attention to detail. This can convey to clients, partners and customers that your business values quality and is dedicated to maintaining a polished image.

Durability and Longevity

Unlike printed logos that may fade over time, an embroidered logo is highly durable. The threads used in embroidery are resilient and resistant to wear and tear. This makes embroidered logos ideal for various applications, such as uniforms, merchandise and promotional items. Regardless as to how your logo is used, it will retain its vibrant appearance for years, ensuring consistent brand representation.

Versatility in Application

Embroidered logos can be applied to a wide range of materials and products. Whether it’s on apparel, bags, hats or even office décor, the versatility of embroidery allows your logo to appear consistently across different touchpoints. This uniformity contributes to reinforcing your brand identity in the minds of your target audience.

Perceived Value and Elegance

The textured and refined appearance of embroidered logos exudes an air of elegance. This perception of higher value can influence how customers perceive your products or services. When a logo is elegantly embroidered on your merchandise or corporate apparel, it can command higher perceived value, which may be reflected in premium price points.

Sense of Unity

For businesses with a team of employees, embroidered clothing creates a sense of unity and belonging. When your team wears the logo with pride, it fosters a strong team spirit and a sense of camaraderie. This can positively impact employee morale, engagement and overall performance.

Timeless Aesthetic

Trends in design and branding come and go, but the classic look of an embroidered logo remains timeless. Whether your business evolves its branding over the years or maintains a consistent identity, an embroidered logo can adapt and continue to represent your brand without appearing outdated.

Attention to Detail

Embroidery allows for intricate detailing that might be lost in other forms of logo application. The careful selection of thread colours, stitching techniques and design placement demonstrates your commitment to every facet of your brand’s image.

Investing in embroidered clothing can yield a range of benefits for your business. Whether you’re a startup or an established brand, this classic approach to logo presentation can be a strategic move toward strengthening your brand identity and leaving a lasting impression on your audience.
