< Back International Labour Organisation
The international Labour Organisation (ILO) is a United Nations Organisation whose specific focus is on labour standards, social protection and work for all. One of the brands we work with "Snickers" is specifically working towards reaching the standards. The company requires all its suppliers and subcontractors to comply with local laws as well as the relevant conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) as specified in their company Code of Conduct. These are the minimum requirements expected to be met.
Snickers states that their code of conduct are an integral part of how they evaluate factory performance, and determines which factories will be selected as suppliers.
To be clear Snickers do not have "certification" from the ILO. The ILO is not a certification body. Snickers are working towards ILO standards. As a workwear brand they do stand out from the crowd because of this alongside Portwest who have WRAP certification.
In line with our policy we offer and promote clothing with the highest social and ethical compliance available.
